Niyah Gonzalez is the Founder and Owner of Essocial Co, a full-service digital marketing agency bridging storytelling, strategy, and culture.
A former collegiate athlete with nearly a decade of experience in broadcast television, Niyah brings a unique perspective shaped by sports, media, and entrepreneurship. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Denison University and a Master’s degree from Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design, where she refined her expertise in media strategy, content development, and audience engagement.
Throughout her career, Niyah has worked across sports and news as a TV anchor and sideline reporter, helping brands and individuals communicate with clarity and confidence. She has collaborated with and been invited to major brand activations and influencer events for notable names such as Verizon, Jordan Brand, and Ulta Beauty—experiences that continue to inform her strategic approach.
Today, Niyah helps founders, businesses, and athletes build powerful personal and professional brands. Her work extends beyond marketing to include media training, on-camera preparation, podcast and press readiness, and strategic support for larger ventures such as book launches, business expansions, and long-term brand development.

The first step in the new client intake process is to schedule a consultation. This can be done in person, over the phone, or through video conferencing. During this meeting, we will get to know you and your business, and discuss your goals, needs, and challenges. We will also provide an overview of our services and answer any questions you may have.

After the initial consultation, we prepare a proposal and agreement outlining the scope of work, timeline, deliverables, and pricing for the project. This proposal will be sent to you for review and approval. Once you approve the proposal, you will sign the agreement and send it back to us.

Once the agreement is signed, we will begin the onboarding process. This includes setting up client accounts, gathering necessary information and assets, and scheduling kickoff meetings.
During this phase, we also conduct research on your industry, competitors, target audience, and existing marketing efforts. We perform an audit and collect data on your website, social media, and other digital channels to identify opportunities for improvement.
